Haven't been able to identify either of the first two bugs yet. For the first,thought maybe the back feature meant that this black beetle is a she and thats for egg layin. Or maybe its a mating thing?
The second black and white guy came into me sounding like a diving airplane and then played possum.
Have seen lots of cool insects and spiders. Just have to look. Got a pic of a good sized walking stick - always makes me think I've won some kind of "where's Waldo" task. Plenty of daddy long legs that get on you and do their little up and down dance.
