WARNING: This is not a post for the faint at heart.
The second most frequent comment I received from folks hearing about this hike goes something like this "I don't see going to the bathroom in the woods" (followed by a very sour grimace). Well, this post is to let inquiring minds know that the Dora the Explorer shovel already has been a wonderful ...... asset for digging "post activity" holes. Sticks are used to move the more delicate and odiferous materials into the hole. Al has a manly alternative: boot heel and rocks.

Last related tidbit to make you roll your eyes: We began our hike on a Wed afternoon. Dora was not needed for the first time til Sunday 6:15. Al's system was alittle faster. He's afraid I'm going to include this kind of detailed info on a spreadsheet.
